对于新移民来说， 您在银行开户，申请信用卡时您的信用纪录就已经生成了。由于这个动作是电脑自动作业，所以好多人改变不知道报告的存在。还有一个误解是：很多人认为如果没有任何
债务信用纪录肯定好。 事实是没有债务的话也就没有纪录。 好的信用纪录是长期“有借有还”的纪录。
2. ACCESS 获取您的信用纪录
您可以通过 trans union 公司付费购买信用纪录报告。或，
您在银行申请任何一种贷款产品时，可以要求银行和您谈您的信用。
银行在您的授权下可以通过连网的软件来获取您的信用纪录。

3. REPAIR 纠正信用纪录
就像所有的系统一样，您的信用纪录也是会出错的。 很多时候，
您会发现您的纪录上有不属于您的贷款， 信用卡， 或其他债务。
还有，您的名字拼写，生日，工卡号，地址，电话等等都有可能有错。

Make sure you provide the following information:
- Full name
- Current address
- Previous address (if less than two years at current address)
- Date of birth
- Social Insurance Number (optional)
- Employment information (optional)
- Telephone number (optional)
- Name of the company you have a dispute with (from your credit report)
- Account number, if available, of the disputed item (from your credit report)
- Reason for your dispute (e.g., you have paid the account, etc.)
- Documentation to support the amendment you have requested. If the amendments are to your personal information (e.g., name), please provide supporting identification documentation, such as change of name certificate, marriage certificate, etc.
例如，您有一张信用卡欠款的纪录，但是您已经将余额还清并关闭了这个户头。您可以提供信用卡公司关闭户头的确认信给trans union 公司做为辅助材料。
4. MONITOR 监控及维护
在您清理了您的报告之后，难免以后又有错误的信息被加到您的报告里。

通知您。 如果资料错误，trans union 可以马上调查，更改或移除。
